Yin Yoga and Massage Workshop

Sunday 13th October 5-7pm - now full. Please email Rachel if you would like to be on the waitlist in case anyone has to cancel.
Sunday 24th November 5-7pm

Join Lisa and Rachel as they work together to provide a relaxing workshop which incorporates both an extended Yin Yoga practice and a little Thai Yoga Massage too.

Imagine for a moment just being in child's pose, surrendered over a bolster listening to the sound of the birds and soothing music while Rachel comes round to further soothe your back and massage your shoulders gently. Or laying on your back in deep relaxation while your feet and hands are massaged.

This combination deeply nourishes and nurtures the body.

The workshop will then draw to a close with a Yoga Nidra session - this is a form of guided meditation that allows you to scan the body and tap into a state of relaxation in a place between wakefulness and sleep, leaving you completely blissed out.

£40 per person. You can book your place here.

Alchemy of the Heart: A Sacred New Moon Cacao Ceremony

Sunday 29th September and Sunday 27th October, both dates at 5-8pm

Join Meghann for a heart opening, soul nourishing evening of transformation and connection as we journey deep into the wisdom of the heart with mama cacao.

What is Ceremonial Cacao?

Ceremonial cacao is chocolate in its purest, high vibrational form. Originating from South America, cacao has been used in ceremony and spiritual practices for thousands of years. It is a beautiful, safe, gentle but potent heart-opening plant medicine which can be used for deep healing and expansion, as well as to enhance connection with yourself and others. Cacao naturally contains many compounds known to improve focus and creativity, to enhance mood and produce feelings of bliss, and to nourish the energy of the heart physically, emotionally and spiritually.

The evening will involve:

  • Sacred Cacao Ceremony

  • Heart Opening Yoga & Somatic Release Work

  • Meditation Journey & Light Body Activation

  • EFT Tapping

  • Medicine Songs

  • Community Connection

*Contraindications:

Cacao is not suitable for those with severe heart problems or those taking antidepressant medication. Please contact me if you have any questions at all. You can still participate in this event without taking cacao. I can provide a heart opening herbal tea infusion as an alternative if requested.

Mats and props are provided, however, you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Please also bring a bottle of water, a journal and pen, a blanket, cosy socks and anything else you need to make yourself comfortable.

£38 per person.  You can book your place here.

Wild Hoffers Spa Retreat

Sunday 6th October, 2-6pm

Come join your fellow cold-water enthusiasts on this reinvigorating Half Day Wild Spa Retreat.

You’ll come away feeling restored from the inside out. AND you will also get to enjoy a gorgeous 30-minute Thai Yoga Massage too!

The contrast of a sauna and ice bath, experiencing one straight after the other, gives numerous health benefits, including enhancing blood flow, improving immune function and burning fat. It also has a positive effect on our wellbeing, reducing stress levels, boosting our mood and giving us a better night’s sleep.

The wild Hoffers retreat gives you the opportunity to enjoy the heat of the sauna before the cold of the ice bath. It is so invigorating!!

This event is primarily designed for those who have already attended a Wim Hof Method Fundamentals Workshop or have some experience with cold exposure and want to deepen their practice without having to relearn all of the theory/science. However, you don’t need to have regularly practiced the method since attending the workshop. In fact, this event is intended as a refresher and to give you an opportunity to practice the method in a relaxing and supportive group environment.

If you are a beginner, don’t be put off! Mat will guide everyone through the breathing and ice bath.

The afternoon will include:

- Guided Group Wim Hof Breathwork
- Guided Ice Bath
- Sauna & Cold Plunge
- 30-minute Thai Yoga Massage
- Dinner, snacks and drinks
- Q&A with Mat, a Certified Wim Hof Method Instructor

Bring warm, comfy clothes, swimwear, 2 towels or 1 dry robe and a towel for the sauna and flip flops.

£90 per person. To book your place and to find out more, click here.

If you have not yet experienced Yasue's method for melting away the stress in the body then these workshops are not to be missed. You will leave feeling like you have had a whole body workout.

Yasue Hodge, a local, highly acclaimed yoga teacher, brings her Fascia® Release Workshop to our beautiful yurts.

Fully trained in all Moving Fascia® (fascial movement) training, Yasue has taken inspiration from these self-release and movement techniques and incorporated them into her own yoga practice, collaborating with Moving Fascia® to develop Moving Fascia® Yoga.

Through movements using a special soft ball, we release the body and restore mobility and breathing. This revolutionary method integrates feedback from self-regulating tools like the Moving Fascia® SOFT ball, helping unveil hidden tension, stimulate dormant areas and enrich proprioceptive and interoceptive awareness.

No prior yoga experience is required for this workshop, so it's perfect for beginners as well as those already practicing yoga. Feel the changes in your body through the first and last poses of yoga. This workshop is unfortunately not suitable for pregnant ladies.
